Cookies on the Salbeso website.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that a website can store on your device, for example to remember your preferences or to track your browsing behaviour. Similar techniques include local storage in your browser and tracking pixels.

Which cookies do we use?

None at all. This website sets no cookies and contains no third-party advertising scripts or tracking techniques. We only store your choice of light or dark mode in your browser’s local storage. That choice contains no personal data and is not sent to our server.

Visitor statistics without cookies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to see how many people visit the website and which pages are popular. This works without cookies: nothing is placed on or read from your device.

Instead of a cookie, Vercel creates an encrypted code based on your request, in order to count repeat visits within the same day. That code expires automatically after 24 hours and cannot be used to recognise you on other websites or to identify you personally. Your IP address is not stored.

Per visit we record only general data such as:

• which page you viewed and at what time;
• which website you came to us from;
• your approximate country, region and city;
• your device type, operating system and browser.

Because nothing is stored on your device and the data cannot be traced back to you, no consent is required and we therefore show no cookie banner. You can read more in the Vercel Web Analytics privacy statement.

Fonts

The fonts on this website are hosted on our own server. They are therefore not fetched from Google Fonts or any other external font platform, which means your IP address is not sent anywhere for this purpose.

Server logs

As with any website, the server delivering these pages automatically keeps technical log files, including IP addresses, requested pages and timestamps. This is necessary for the operation and security of the website, does not involve cookies, and is not used to profile visitors.

Contact form

If you fill in the contact form, we send that data to our server so we can answer your question. No cookies are set in the process. What happens to that data is described in our privacy policy.

Changes

If we later add techniques that do require cookies or storage on your device, we will update this policy and ask for your consent in advance.
